Currently working on a Shark Ballast Plough and starting to refit the Footboards.
2 boards per side 1 longer upper board and 1 shorter lower board.
Both supported by angled brackets riveted to the frame.
We marked up all the fittings with NE / NW / SE / SW as to which quarter of the vehicle they be longed, Thinking that would be good enough.
But no, the Hinges are ok and fit where they should as well as the Board support plate that the hinge piece sits on.
The only piece we have still to identify is the bit in the photo.
Approx 8 inch long with 4 holes drilled. Plate approx 1/8th thick.
There are 4 of them, 1 for each quarter.
There are no obvious bolt or screw holes in the boarding that match these plates.
Can anyone tell us what they are and where do they fit.

It is worth remembering, that SHARK is a codename for various diagrams of plough brakes.
Some have wheels between ploughs, some have ploughs between wheels.
I'm sure there are many other differences.
