GCR Autumn Steam Gala Friday 3rd October

I visited the GCR Autumn steam gala on Friday 3rd October, in what can only be described as horrendous weather conditions

Visiting locomotives were 45596 Bahamas, LNWR Coal Tank 1054 & Stanier Mogul 13268

I did a trip out to Leicester behind 45596 Bahamas with the Griddle train, excellent Breakfast!! well recommended

Highlight of the day was the 2 Stanier locos doing a double headed run to Leicester North and back in horrendous conditions the 2 locos move off Loughborough shed

Travelled back to Loughborough behind the pair then caught the shuttle bus back to Loughborough Midland for journey to Derby and overnight B&B
