    This July 1st was the 130th anniversary of the first train ever into Henllan and Newcastle Emlyn stations, Not unusual to celebrate the first train.
    Nor to feel admiration for the work of the civil engineering crews who succeeded in building the 6 miles of track with all its bridges, embankments, cuttings, fencing anf buildings without the help of modern machinery.

    most railways would not mark 130th with probably anything more than a social media post or two . I know you both won't care and won't listen to this but your posts both on here and on the Facebook groups are more a personal war for relevance in the history of the railway and each incremental one devalues the contributions you did make and have no impact on the direction and future outcome for the Teifi Valley

    So should we just ignore the incompetence or blind arrogance or downright belligerence of the current management and their continuing failure to meet the legal requirements of their positions? Noting that they are currently facing their sixth Companies House notice for compulsory strike-off for failure to return accounts?
    I wonder if you would feel the same if it was your favourite railway? One that you had spent many years working for and then been unceremoniously ditched?
    Elizabeth is obviously very passionate about the TVR. Why should she care or listen to your comments? Perhaps a little less criticism would be a good thing.

    one thing that experience has shown is railways are not run on social media nor is their path changed by social media . we saw that with the WSR, we see it with the NYMR and for all the posts the Teifi has shifted its course by not one degree .

    Elizabeth sadly isn't the first nor will be the last to be unceremoniously ditched as you so delightfully frame it , and many others previously targeted have found a new home far more welcoming instead. thank fully we have a movement that is a broad church with plenty of choice.

    in my case I found a path that took me onto the board supporting the railway that I care passionately about , and whilst I wasn't quite ditched , the relationship took a turn for the worst before matters got better

    So I speak from experience , does that help ?

    As I am sure you’d recognise yours is but one opinion. I think it is a question that only those making the posts can answer as to whether it is “good for them”. I don’t have the impression that this is burning up anyone and providing this is so, there’s really no harm in continuing to call attention to the missing filings. If the TVR are concerned then they could try fulfilling their legal duties. As to whether it diminishes people’s prior contribution, I suspect that’s again a matter for the individual.

    The fact that raising these issues seems not have any impact isn’t necessarily a reason to stop. Plenty of cases where repetition over many years was required before something changed.

    The posts (here at least) challenge but aren’t personal or aggressive in anyway. Personally I don’t see a problem if they continue.
