    Cheers
Checked the link the other day and again just now and only shows a QR code no seating details

I thought that was probably as a result of them using a ticketing agent as not known railtour companies to scan QR codes on tours

Will hopefully get something later this week by email from them

Just seems rather short notice when most railtour companies issue tickets including e tickets at least a week before a tour is booked to run

We got our final Carlisle details 2 days before the trip which was as advised on the booking confirmation.

    Cheers Alan

Got the tickets tonight, simply says coach and table but no seats numbers. See what occurs on Sat.

Looking forward to sampling Clun Castle on unusual territory on the ECML

They don't issue seat numbers, there will be a card with your name on the table when you get on the train. Vintage Trains tours are usually very well organised, enjoy your trip!

Not received my ticket yet, boarding at York, are these being sent out at a different time?
Will give VT a ring late afternoon if not received anything

I'm boarding at York and got mine last night so might be worthwhile giving them a ring Neil

Cheers, my last tour with Vintage was 13/05/17 - The East Midlands Pannier Rambler with 9466 & 9600

This one attracted me with the localish pickup, decent fare and also unusual territory for a Castle

4E33 Southampton to Doncaster has been stuck at Acocks Green since 0525 looking at the signalling diagrams

Causing chaos with Chiltern and WM services too so not just the tour affected

I wonder if they'll have to call it a day, at this rate.

We have now left TYS sidings obviously late and will seek to run out of course as far as York only.

So presumably no York to Newcastle run then ?

Issues outside of vintage control but shame they can't update their social media posts
