    I’m told Peveril is in Douglas in the engine shed with a tarpaulin over her until she’s next required for display.

    Other way about, apparently, and possibly the cabs & passenger sections were mix'n'matched !
    Something to do with a massive shunting exercise some [long] time ago.

    I did get my meeting, despite Storm Bram ...

    But will they ever run again?
    The one at Fintown is a wonderful experience (in the pouring rain, with water cascading through the cab area... and it sounds like an 03 shunter), but a longer ride would be amazing.
