Statfold have announced their 2026 Spectacles of Steam for March 07/08 and June 06/07. Can we expect any new additions to the working fleet? I'm specifically thinking of WDLR 4-6-0T 779 (Baldwin 44657/1916, ex India) under restoration at Killamarsh or CDC 0-4-2T 1 (HE 3756/1952, ex Cameroon).

The WD is no longer at Killamarsh. The guys there rebuilt the cab and did some work on some other parts, but a change of plan meant the WD returned to Statfold for the restoration to continue there. I think it would still be a while off steaming.

Killamarsh took on Black Hawthorn 0-4-0ST 'Portugesa' (748/1884) on behalf of Statfold in place of the WD. It’s still early stages but a lot has been achieved already.

The Cameroon loco is probably a good bet.
