Gwsr post Christmas running

    From the 27th December the Gwsr have diagrammed 4079 pendennis castle and 6880 betton grange as working the two service trains. Additionally on Sunday 4th January, 3850 will work one train and 6880 and 4079 will double head the other. You can make a weekend of it and see the svr winter warm up on Saturday and Gwsr Sunday! (Both locos face north out of Cheltenham, 3850 facing south).
    Word of warning if travelling on services other than the 4th, pendennis doesn’t have steam heat on the front so departures going south from broadway might be a bit chillier !

    Has 6880 been turned recently? I saw a picture of it working Santa Specials facing Cheltenham.

    It's been facing North out of Cheltenham since it came back from Norfolk in September, including a quick visit to the Bluebell. Maybe you were looking at the photo upside down :)
