I have added 55 new photos of the Deltics in the Pre TOPS era, including a rare photo of a class 55 double heading with another class of loco, more than like the class 47 seen here more than likely is a failure and been rescued by the Deltic, unless someone knows differently.

I have added a new collection of 35 photos of the EM1 & EM2 electric locos.
Originally envisaged by Nigel Gresley at the LNER only one loco was built due to the outbreak of the Second World War LNER 6000. After the war this loco was shipped to Holland and gained the nickname 'Tommy' and is seen here at a unknown location in Holland
    https://railway-photography.smugmug...ics/LNERBR-EM1-Electric-locomotives/i-dVj5fMH
Once back in the UK it was officially named Tommy and renumbered 26000

    starting here with
    E26005 at Guide Bridge
    https://railway-photography.smugmug...ics/LNERBR-EM1-Electric-locomotives/i-zFRNm5Q

Later they were classified Class 76
