    I went to the GCR Spring Steam Weekend yesterday Saturday 28th February 2026.
    In action were visitors 34072 257 Squadron, 92134 disguised as 92073, Austerities 68067 & 3809, Diesels D7018 and a 2 coach dmu, which i actually never saw!!

    Highlight for me as i missed it at the earlier in the year winter gala was the 9F on the windcutter rake of wagons seen here leaving Loughborough

    There was a incident apparently at Leicester North involving D7018 which was withdrawn from traffic on its return to Loughborough
