Not seen a post about this, the GCR are offering another chance to see two of the guest locomotives in action again to remember the S&D 60 years since it closed plus one resident.

Light Pacific No. 34072 '257 Squadron'
    BR 9F No. 92134
    BR Class 5MT No. 73156

Final trip of the day will see 73156 & 34072 double heading.

Here's my footage of the Great Central Railway recreating the Somerset and Dorset, 60 years from the closure of the line. The highlight of the day was the last two runs of the day featuring the 9F and 34072 '257 Squadron accelerating sharply away from Rothley to Leicester with the last trains of the day. I hope you enjoy it.

Nice shots, you were one lucky boy with the sun, the videographer didn't get any and we were a few miles away ay Statfold and didn't see a drop.
