    Two very enjoyable days on Friday and Saturday. First time I've done a Friday rather than a Sunday and certainly eeasier to get to by public transport. Not sure if I can make the diesel gala but definitely will try for next year's steam gala.

    The giveaway is that 52044 still has her Barton-Wright smokebox door, rather than the Hughes one fitted a few years ago. Personally, I think the old one looked far better, but maybe that's just me...!

    nothing was turned . 5029 and 34046 arrived facing Oxenhope and 45407 arrived back from the RTC Whitby trip facing Keighley
