    Looks like the makings of an interesting event. Slightly confusing that the write up says the event "celebrates unique members of the home fleet" however 13268, which is certainly unique, isn't included.

    It doesn’t make much sense when 1450, 77-4, D9551 & 20048 are all not unique with other members of each class in preservation and in the case of 7714 isn’t even unique on the railway. Luckily the actual gala page rather than the booking page makes more sense on that front.

    My understanding is that it is intended to be more a 'small engines' style gala, which ties in with what's advertised to be running and has been announced so far.

    Yes it is, as I said the main page makes more sense than the text on the booking page and says that.

    Both pages appear to have been updated to refer to small locomotives now, not unique ones, so fair enough!

    Personally I think we shoud have called this gala “It’s not all about the size you know”….But apparently that’s not very appropriate :D
