Little theatrics from 34028 at Hasland this afternoon; understandable given the conditions, but still nice to see her on the mainline for the first time nonetheless!

Second foot crossing after the station, the one behind where you got your shots, on camera i can see the crossing infront of me, parking near the corner of Sheeptick End

I know the one. Looked at that yesterday but decided on the sports ground in the end.

The sports ground just to the west of the station. Come down the hill, over the level crossing and take the first road on the left.

Eddystone seen taking on rare track as she heads over the Marston Vale line, and then even more rarely going over the Chiltern mainline passed Wembley stadium, which was literally up following the FA cup semi-final between Southampton and Manchester City:

Haven't shared much recently, but this will do, sauntering towards Linslade tunnels in the evening glare.

It's been good to see Eddystone nicely established as a main line engine across England with GBXVIII plus the wonderful images from contributers. I feel sure that the RTC is pleased that the whole trip has been completed uneventfully and that enough people were prepared to shell out for the experience. In 2026 it remains remarkable that such a trip has taken place, even under the various constraints that we all know about.

Nice to see one there from the otherside. I passed that location on my way home just after it had gone
