I like industrial locos, try opening your mind - or even vist the Toddington Narrow Gauge ;) I quite often go places and hope it's something a bit more interesting than a Black 5/8F/Prairie/Bulleid.

That's what I love about our hobby, people moan whereas in reality I'm surprised people aren't just pleasaed that locos still exist...

I think it'll be a bit of a surprise when it turns up and everyone sees what it is, but the cloak and dagger will all make sense! Something with a bit of celebrity, rarity and nostalgia...

In other news, 78022 is currently being loaded at Ingrow West and should be with us tomorrow.

    Interesting.
I have a question. Is there much difference in the online ticket price and on-the-day?

I'm amazed it hasn't descended into Numberwang where we're all taking guesses on whats turning up.

How about Prairie 4150 - just missed the SVR gala but maybe in with a shout at G&WSR?

I've seen suggestions that it could be something from Carnforth...

It's usually £2-3 more, sorry I've not got the exact figures to hand.

If I was a betting man, 45110 was going to be the horse I backed.

Some of their volunteers have been using words/phrases like “5-star” and “Takes two to Tango” online so I think it’s a fairly safe bet it’s a Class 5 and one which was involved in 1-Tango-57 really. Unless I’m just way wide of the mark with those assumptions.

That narrows it down to 2.
Didn't someone say 44871 stayed at Leicester on Saturday instead of going back to 10A?

A quote for a move with a big engine from as far a field as that, navigating the Midlands with all the potential police escort issues and costs is the sort of thing that would turn our finance director a funny colour....!
