So this para on their website is obsolete?

“Since the acquisition of Seal Engineering (now CTL Seal) in 2009, our operation also includes the design and manufacture of bespoke fabrications, structural steelwork, heavy precision machining, lifting equipment and general engineering.”

Charles Thompson Ltd and CTL Seal were linked 5 years ago but are now completely separate companies. They are working together on our boiler project. Their web site does need updating

Another 'wheely' big step forward this week! Hengist will be rolling before much longer. Well done to all involved, and I mean ALL.
You all know the link by now, surely.

Cannon axleboxes are on order for the coupled wheels as well. We have 2D drawings for the internal components, we now need to fit them into the 3D model and do a tolerance check. Once the axleboxes have been cast and proof machined, they will come back to Diamond Engineering for the Manganese Steel Liners to be welded on and final machined.
