Due to fire risk, only one steam turn for the next few days. 13268 is on S1, today S2 is being covered by a 20. The rest of the week is currently TBC. D9551 and D1062 as booked on N1 and S3.

3 in steam tomorrow with 1450, 7714 and 13268. One full GWR rake in use plus a half one. 13268 also does the demonstration goods in the evening.

1450 will be out for an extended period of time to complete the repairs that have been thrown up.

Will the repairs be carried out on the SVR or an external workshop?

It was declared a failure 14 hours ago on a Saturday. I doubt that much has even been considered yet, but our chaps at BH are some of the best in the business

Sorry, I assumed you stating it being ruled out of the gala implied some sort of assessment made and presumably conveyed to the owner.

Well yes it’s been assessed and the repairs that need undertaking will take longer than the time to the gala.

However the question you asked was where it would be repaired and that is not an answer I have.
