Looks like a freshly painted 47, maybe the one bound for FW tomorrow?

I'd be surprised - 851 doesn't get let out too far from home these days as she's a bit of a problem child.

It was hauled by a 37 - no idea of the number I was not close enough!

Pathing allowance is used as a buffer against the sectional running times as a means of adding time in the schedule. The 36 minutes in Grayrigg is the allocated dwell time.

class 37 movement from Carnforth to Fort William got bowled at Beattock railcam location, but looked like 37516, plus 4 1st class blue mk 2 coffins, but 3 of them with the small toplights fitted, plus a couple of maroon coaches

Is the 60007 move to Doncaster still on?

I acknowledge that in principle those are different things for different purposes, but when they apply at the same place they effectively combine to 37 minutes (or possibly less if the train is allowed on its way sooner).

I am surprised that it was apparently easier for NR to find a path (which might now be problematic after the delayed start) to Derby and beyond via the busy WCML and Lichfield than via a reversal in Crewe station and then Stoke and Uttoxeter.
