    The first Dalesman of the summer from Chester to Carlisle ran today with Tangmere doing the honours from Hellifield to Carlisle via the S&C and Carlisle to Carnforth via the WCML. An extremely damp and miserable day. Pictures at Horton in Ribblesdale and Beckfoot :-

    34067 With the 1st Chester Dalesman seen crossing Ribblehead Viaduct in thoroughly miserable conditions then on the return through a gloomy Lune Gorge.
