    Not sure if its linked to this but LSL have some 20's running around the coast to Sellafield today and then back and forth between Barrow and Sellafield tomorrow?

    More likely to be route learning/retention for the Three Peaks Special next Friday round the coast to Ravenglass

    You're probably right, I suspect its going to be quite the PITA to run that having to reverse at Ravenglass/Sellafield then faff at Carnforth to head north again, I hope its still possible for those dong it to hit the 24 hour target!

    Quite a bit of slack in last year's schedule - left Ravenglass (heading north) at 1930 but didn't reach Craigendoran Jn until 0047. Fort William booked arrival was 0425 - and in the end was nearly an hour late.
