The 10¼ inch gauge Eastleigh Lakeside Miniature Railway held a 'Giants of Miniature Steam' gala last weekend and I went along on the Saturday. I took lots of photos and videos and the first part of my video footage is now on YouTube. This is the link if you'd like to see it:

    Hope it's of interest,

    TTFN,

If anyone would like to have a look, part 2 of my footage is now on YouTube:

There's lots more in the pipeline, too...

    Afternoon All,

My latest video from the Eastleigh Lakeside Miniature Railway is now on YouTube. It was shot from the train as it did a non-stop run covering two laps of the circuit. Motive power was the 231E Nord 3.1192. As it's a bit on the long side, I've broken it down into three, bite size, episodes:

Being 10¼ inch gauge makes it seem much faster than it actually is, and the sensation of speed is enhanced by the 'clickerty-clack' of the wheels going over the rail joints. A sound that some of us will remember with some nostalgia!

    TTFN,

    Ron.
