Seems sensible to me that as the gala largely caters for the enthusiasts , for star turn locos to be marketed on specific trains outside the galas for a different market.

If, like me, you have been a supporter of the NYMRE for 50+ years, and still wants it to succeed, you might be co0ncerned that these "special" trains will sufficient custom to be sufficiently viable. Will the "Treat packs", for example, prove to be worthwhile? It isn't a question that's easy to answer, as it is not made clear what the pack contains! For all the reader knows it might be a small catering pack of shortbread biscuits. To me, the point is that if you are trying to sell a premium product it is necessary to spell out what the "premium" add-on consists of!

And now it starts to get personal! How grown up to just tell people who disagree with you that they should just go away. Why should you be in charge of who posts on here?

You don't have to post every opinion about everything on here, particularly as they are consistently negative and do little to support the railway which you claim to support.

Why do *you* feel the need to spin out your obvious dislike of the NYMR, with so many posts questioning so many things?

As others have said, it's time for you to move on. Or at least give others who have different opinions the opportunity to contribute to this thread without fear of being slapped down.
