According to the Plym Valley Railway Facebook page, 30075 has arrived at Plym Valley Railway.

No word when it will be in service, but it will be on display this weekend at the Transport Weekend.

Well, it shouldn't develop too may hot boxes there. It's not very far from Okehampton where it last worked passenger trains.

I was intrigued by the Shillingstone Facebook post about it going somewhere yesterday, and then intrigued even more when it came past me on the opposite side of the M5 this morning as I headed up to the WSR. My first thought was that it was appropriate it was heading towards Meldon, too!

So that potentially gives the Plym Valley three working steam locos with the Tkh and Albert too, assuming the Tkh isn't away for long?

Very interested to see when 30075 will be running as I'll definitely be up for sampling that at the PVR, which is always a lovely line to visit (though every time I've been free to in the last year or so it's been coincidentally a Pacer running and they're not for me).

The TKH has gone on loan elsewhere I believe- saw a reference to the South Devon Railway, don't know if that's correct.

Has 30075 been used at the Plym Valley yet? Nothing on their Facebook page.

I read some where it is only there for testing no public services and will move on to the railway it will be on loan to.

Would be a shame if so - though I'm sure there'd be a logical reason if that is the case. I'm purely thinking of the point of view of the Plym Valley being one of the smaller/relative low profile lines and that it would probably benefit from the interest 30075's first post-overhaul passenger services might get.
