I doubt it's been turned (I don't think it fits on the turntable for a start) but 60163 should be facing west.

Edit - ignore that, it's been turned and is facing east now.

It certainly is: at Yarwell Junction...

    ... and at PNVR.

After seeing Eddystone in Peterborough station I went over to the Nene Valley Railway for their 'East Coast Weekend' services, featuring Peppercorn A1 Pacific 60163 Tornado & Class 55 Deltic 55009 Alycidon.

Unfortunately due to the time table slipping i was unable to get a photo of both locos in the same photo, as the railway decided to T'n'T the services between Wansford-Yarwell Jct-Wansford to avoid delays running round at Yarwell

At the end of the day 60163 and 55 009 were double-heading on the last train of the day: they left Wansford at 16.48 and returned at 18.02. I have screenshots of this from Railcam which I will not post as they're copyright.

Given that the timetabled departure from Wansford was 16.35 for the D/H service, which was never going to be to and from Yarwell, I don't see what your problem is - unless you didn't read the timetable?

I think what Neil meant was that rather than locos swapping at Wansford as timetabled on the other trains, they ran top and tail Wansford-Yarwell-Wansford so the timetabled loco was at the right end.

Also, The A1 is leaving tonight owing to a network steam ban coming in from tomorrow I've been told by some of the support crew. No timings yet available that I can see.

Unsure why you have said this to me I never mentioned the D/H, I had to leave before it ran as I was travelling back up to Yorkshire
