    No I do not currently volunteer
    This weekend 31/7 to 2/8 the VOBR is/was running a 143 pacer from the sidings they occupy to the mainline junction. Track is Network Rail so a NR mobile manager in attendance and traincrew from Rail Adventure. Well attended but the pacer will have picked up some scratches.

    I watched a video of the pacer running along the line. It sounded to me like the pacer was getting seriously scratched by the undergrowth and will need a new paint job. I think crantock's remark is an understatement!
