We will be running a photo charter on Sun 12th July @ Foxfield with Backworth No 47 ( Moorbarrow ). For the first time since its departure from Backworth all those years ago ( nearly 30 ! ) the engine will visit a pit head once more. In NCB blue the engine will feel at home in no time at all.

If you would like to take part please pm me and I will forword the details to the charter group. Buffet will be open before the event & the bar afterwards - it will nice to see our regulars + one or two new faces will be made very welcome.

47 would certainly look good with the hoppers against the headstocks

Looks great, a fine layer of dust will soon be available via Foxfield bank.

Just to confirm, the charter is ruuning - bookings are lower than expected. I am honest enough to say that if anyone wants to turn up on the day we will be be able to accept them. Notification was late due to a last min snag with paper work - all resolved but we lost time at a critcal moment.

Start at Foxfield 14.00 - ask for Dave.
