    Not many coal fired 100 year old pleasure steamers have an engine 20 years older ! It is coaled from the railway coalstack at Kingswear station.

    Back in the Mid 80's I was asked if I wanted to be KC's 2nd Engineer if she went to the Dart - she didnt for another 30 years.

    The offer came from Roy Barclay, ex 2nd E Bristol Queen who had been offered the KC job.

    Needless to say I wasnt going to get Brass Buttons I was just going to be a glorified stoker & coal humper..............

    Been down the P&D on Friday and 4110 was out and then swapped for 37703 on the last two round trips due to fire risk.

    It's been posted elsewhere that 37275 will be used on the same trains both Saturday and Sunday, presumably 4110 out again until 3ish, 7827 was also at Paignton. 5239 in the shed at Churston with 4247 and 75014 in the paintshop siding.
