    Re: The Jacobite

Another lovely day following 62005, many thanks again to the crews for playing along again :D Probably some of the best whistling again i've ever recorded today :D Also thanks to the NELPG for allowing us into the Yard for a couple of shots and Riley for pointing us in the right direction :D.

A fantastic three days and amazing 30+ different line side locations! Tomorrow will be a trip behind the K1 :D and then home time :(

I've uploaded a couple of shots from today's clips, but doesn't include all the clips taken, after working on the DVD project this evening over 30 minutes of line side footage is included in the upcoming DVD available at the weekend with tomorrow's on board footage that should take it to about 50 - 60 minutes. I shall upload a DVD trailer on Friday once i've returned home along with more details about the DVD.

    Re: The Jacobite

I have put The Jacobite down as next year's holiday, as I've just done the Isle of Man and will be spending a week in Barmouth at the end of August to photograph The Cambrian specials.

The Fort William-Mallaig line does indeed look a superb scenic railway. :)

    Re: The Jacobite

It sure is, was my first trip up there and i'm already looking book again next Summer, loved every second of it! Hopefully we'll be down in Barmouth at the end of August too, just need to get around to booking the accomodation. ](*,)

After a fab week filming the K1 i've been working hard away at the DVD today which is looking and sounding marvellous :D
I've uploaded a couple of clips for the DVD trailer from throughout the week of the K1. The DVD includes over 30 line side shots and footage from on board the train, clips are also included from the yard at Fort William where the engines are stabled.

The DVD is available for just £6.99 which includes the P&P and lasts approx. 66 minutes.
