    Correct for the period but looks a bit on the thick side lining should be thinner? Otherwise superb job.

    With its cut-down boiler mountings and slimline cylinders, 6024's appearance is no longer 'authentic' for any part of its working life. So, arguably, it really doesn't matter what colour they paint it now...

    It would be unlike Mr Smith not to have negotiated some mutual benefit from these 'assists' though .......
