    Oh dear, 'exclusive content'. For me, I work in a slightly different way. Just as an example, say that I wanted to visit a steam gala, I look at my diary but I see that there are two tempting galas on the same weekend. I check which visiting locos are attending, then decide which gala I would like to attend. Simples. [BJ]

    Only 4 home fleet engines is pretty disappointing.

    I remember only a few years ago, there would be approx 7 or 8 GCR engines plus visitors at a gala, excellent events!

    Such is the way of things now, the running pool is much smaller at most railways.

    There is a slight possibility that 48305 could be fixed in time for the gala. Looks a bit touch and go though at this stage hence why I haven't listed it.

    Class 14 No. D9525, the 101 DMU and Iris has also been added to the line up, Might as well call it Autumn Mixed Traction Gala....

    While the use to ensure the intensity of service is at usual GC gala standard, probably not wisest to have the Class 14 listed as the first visiting locomotive on the website.

    I've just had a look, and the Class 14 isn't on the GCR webpage?

    Edit: I refreshed the page and the Class 101 DMU vanished in front of me... imagine they must be still updating the page?! :)
