    A very odd pairing indeed.

Was there today. They made a lot of noise while working on the main demonstration line.

I did my annual visit to Didcot, (it's a long journey by rail from Yorkshire over 4 hours)
Lots to see, including the guest loco 229 'Coffee Pot' which was working the Didcot Hall shuttle, with 4079 Pendennis Castle & 4144 doing the main runs.
229 Coffee Pot on the smaller Didcot Hall line
Inside the main shed were 6023 King Edward II in blue livery,5900 Hinderton Hall, 3822, 6697, 5572 D1023 Western Fusilier plus others

    Outside were 6998 Burton Agnes Hall, 6106, 5051 Drysllwyn Castle, later joined by 4079, 1340 & 229
