    The Field Railway will be operating with steam and diesel traction. The passenger railway extension, sadly, remains mired in the hands of Staffordshire County Council's rights-of-way people. As it has done for 10+ years now.

    Will the site be open before the first trains at 11.30? I'm thinking of shed shots during preparations, always a good watch.

    Went on Sunday, very quiet, I suppose the SVR and ELR events onthe same weekend were also big pullers.8 loco's in steam, sunnier day that forecast, a bit tricky for some shots. I find the line amzing for shots/opportunities considering how small it is. The demonstration freight on the 'main line' and the the troublesome trucks on the field circle, what's not to like if you are narrow minded. Great day, my wife always enjoys the day here.
