Unfortunately 55009 Alycidon will not be available for traffic at the NVR this coming weekend 25/26th July.
Over the course of the last three months intensive shakedown testing a few minor issues have arisen and these will be rectified when the loco returns to Barrow Hill.

I'd agree, although I believe the NVR has also disposed of some of its continental coaches in recent years?

Still a good few there and I think one was even restored recently?

About 10 vehicles I think, though not all are operational.

I'm visiting the railway on Sunday to see 6024. Am I right that it's just 6024 running and also, how long roughly does it take to walk between the NR and NVR stations?

Haven't travelled over the NVR yet so looking forward to visiting (though I have briefly visited Wansford station on the way to a holiday in Pickering, but that was nearly 30 years ago now!

Yes, just 6024 booked out - timetable is on the website. Allow about 20 minutes to walk between them if you walk at a reasonable speed. I think the footbridge next to Railworld only allows access between the two halves of the site now and not general access across the river. You can walk through the car park at Peterborough station to knock a few minutes off, then use the footbridge behind Asda to cross the Nene.
