Should be and excellent weekend. For those of you who have never been to a Gwsr event I do suggest a visit is worthwhile! Aside from the trains we have the diesel shed and steam sheds open at Toddington, broadway signal box will be ope ln for viewing before it’s finally commissioned this winter. Additionally carriage and wagon will be open at Winchcombe which is always worth a visit. on th dc trains I think Saturday sees the 2 class 20’s double up alongside class 24. On Sunday I think it’s D6948 and the peak. Both days alongside 2807, 3850, 6880 and 45110. And all for £28 adults and kids for a quid!

And don't forget, for those of us who are narrow minded enough (!) the 2ft railway will be in steam at Toddington.

I’m tempted to go this weekend. Do we have any info as to which way the steam locos will be facing?

6880 and 45110 face north so chimney first from Cheltenham. 2807 and 3850 both face south. It should be a good chance to also catch up on the overhauls of 35006, 7903 and 7820- all in the David page shed at Toddington.
