    I decided to go over to Crewe on Wednesday for 89001 Avocet with the re run of the Avocet Achievement rail tour at Crewe, and later in the day took a gamble and went down to Stafford hoping that 6024 King Edward 1 was running without a diesel pilot, it wasn't thankfully

    Down to Stafford for the King, at the last minute a late running Pendolino arrived in the platform i was on just as 6024 was due, thankfully it was held till the King had passed
