    7714 has been delivered facing 'the wrong way', i.e. towards Bury. Not sure how this will affect the plans for the freight runpasts on Friday morning.

    That would be nice, wouldn't it? But it would require the complete re-jigging of the loco roster, so it's probably not going to happen.

    No I do not currently volunteer
    Noticing that the Night Goods on Saturday night is sold out, if anyone would like my ticket for it please do pm me.

    Too much going on at work and home to make the trip north this weekend now and usually whenever that happens I'm happy for my advance ticket purchase to become a donation to the railway instead.

    But given the Night Goods is sold out, if anyone was too late to book on it and wants a space then I'll happily sell on my ticket at the cost price.

    All locos ( Santas excepted ) tend to face Bury for part of the journey.Somehow related to it being an intermediate station .
