I would say that's a lot easier to predict than what might happen at 10A next..;)

Interesting that there is no specific thread for tomorrow's 'Bournemouth Belle'. One of very few steams in the south-east these days, and also one which uses Waterloo boths ways, so I would have thought it worthy of discussion. Do people know something I don't?

Other than starting from Waterloo and using the mainline to and from Woking it is just another Swanage Belle really. With the "added attraction" of 50 minutes at Brockenhurst (at 10C according to the forecast).

OK, but a Bulleid out of, and back into, Waterloo is not a common occurence nowadays. So be it.

Not so sure the very few is correct, Clan Line did the Kent circuit today and there will be another one on the 31st. On top of the job again today, arrived back at Vic half a minute early.

Nice picture. But the RTC missed a trick there as this train goes to Swanage not just Bournemouth and the Royal Wessex would have been a more appropriate name with its portions for Weymouth and Swanage, back in the day.

And a departure at 07:14 just to go to Swanage? Ouch!

Two video stills from Byfleet and New Haw just after surise. Video to follow. Great schedule adherence - until Eastleigh... I was concerned that I might be 'bowled' by the approaching Basingstoke train on the slow but all was well. 115A9346 (1).jpeg 115A9348 (1).jpeg

Indeed, and the 'BB' was Pullman whereas the 'RW' wasn't.

Great shots. Did you manage to get the registration number of the aircraft coming into land at LHR, as per top left hand corner of the first photo? ;)
