Day out on the NYMR (Sadly not behind 60007) Tuesday 20th October 2026

I went for a day out yesterday Tuesday 20th October mainly for a trip behind 60007 Sir Nigel Gresley, sadly it failed its FTR exam on Monday with crown stay problems, so 926 Repton deputised on the specials the 60007 would have run (so £30 spent and no 60007)
So made the most of what was on offer, again due to NYMR flipping the time table i was stuck behind a diesel there and back instead of what should have been 44806, but did manage a trip from Grosmont to Goathland behind 44806, then back to Grosmont with 926 Repton.
On Grosmont shed the area around 60007 SNG had been cordoned off to allow visitors to get in front of it to take photos, plus quite a few members of the 60007 society were there giving answers to any questions and taking photos of people (me included) alongside 60007,

Anyway, i travelled behind 37688 Great Rocks from Pickering to Grosmont where
44806 was just arriving from Whitby, which i jumped onto for a trip up the bank to Goathland,

then return back to Grosmont behind 926 Repton
While at Grosmont a bit of Promo filming took place for the NYMR's Christmas services, a quick switch of headboard to 'The Santa Express'

926 Repton now back with 'The Cunarder' headboard leaves Grosmont for Pickering deputising for failed 60007 SNG
