Steam Railway says it’s been bought by the North Staffordshire Railway Company (1978) which is the supporting charity of the CVR

The North Staffordshire Railway company purchased it and Austerity Wimblebury after they were left a legacy.

Hi all, I am just assembling the next WSR journal and we are thinking how best to cover the sad death of JJP. He was a man who valued the people, so I would like to include as many tributes as I can from individuals on the railway. If you would like to write something about JJP for the journal, then please post it here or email it to journal@wsra.org.uk.
