    35025 Brocklebank Line: A New Chapter Begins!

    Exciting times lie ahead for 35025 Brocklebank Line, as we formally welcome the locomotive into MNLPS ownership, marked by the handover of her nameplates at Stewarts Lane.
    Meanwhile, we have already collected boiler 1104, formerly fitted to 35025, and our team is assessing it as we begin preparing for the work ahead.
    Our team has also visited Southern Locomotives Limited to assess the parts available, identify what is missing and plan for the storage and organisation of the components.
    There is a long road ahead. Brocklebank Line remains a major restoration project, with significant components still required, including a tender chassis, dragbox, motion and numerous brass fittings. We have the skills and knowledge to take this project forward, but funding and sourcing the missing parts will be crucial to giving this magnificent locomotive a chance of returning to steam.
