    Originally it was, I am advised that we will have an available engine in steam to work this service, it will also allow the signal boxes to close earlier as the train will terminate at Bridgnorth instead of returning ECS to Kidderminster with the engine stabling on Bridgnorth Shed.

    Very much agreed.

    One other factor is that, as it starts from Bridgnorth, the station car parks will be full very early that day.

    An interesting one for me is whether such trains could be used that would bring more people *to* the SVR, perhaps extending some early morning Chiltern summer weekend services? To get there for a good day out would need a good early start - and it's 45 minutes quicker from Euston.
