    Guys,

    This weekend (25th and 26th) brings with is the PBR's Annual Diesel Gala. An intensive 20 minute timetable between Furnace Siding and the Whistle Inn 11:00 til 17:00 both days. Fleet in action will comprise of D5627, 73128, 37216 and possibly 37421 if repairs are completed in time. Sunday brings the naming of D5627 and 73128 in a short ceremony. 73128 will be operating in push pull mode with the 3 CEP 1198 and the others will be working a rake of 3 Mk1's. If 421 is in Action it will run with 216 all day as a pair.

    There will be a selection of Rhymney Brewery Real Ales available from the on train Buffet on the Mk1 rake and light lunches available from our Tearoom.

    I've just been informed that despite spending most of the day on working on the problem the fault in the Air System remains as elusive as ever so it will NOT be running at the gala, it will instead just be on display in platform 2 at Furnace Sidings.

    On the plus side 37421 WILL be out, having undergone successful test runs today it will see service over the weekend although due to problems with the fan it will only be working 1 train an hour.

    A revised timetable (version 6ish) has been sent to the usual suspects
