5542 and Auto 225 at Chinnor August 2009

    5542 and SDR Autotrailer 225 will be visiting the Chinnor and Princes Risborough Railway during August 2009. 5542 will also work alongside the 'resident' 96xx Pannier on several dates so there should be a genuine 'Branch line' feel around.     Re: 5542 and Auto (225)167 at Chinnor August 2009

    5542 has now arrived at Chinnor for its month long holiday and has been joined by Auto 167 from Llangollen, not SDR's 225 as originally planned. The auto service is due to begin this Saturday, 1st August and continue for 3 further Saturdays. 5542 will also feature on other Sunday services during the visit.

    I think this has been left on from last weekend, but it's not reallt the best way to advertise their gala next Sunday!

    With regards to the services on Sunday 16th, with the 0930 being a Goods train, will the Autocoach 167 see any action at all during the day?

    I'm guessing that the 0930, 1145 & 1430 are hauled by 5542 and the others 9682?


    Edit - Now Looking at http://www.chinnorrailway.co.uk/20th-anniversary - are the Auto shuttles between main services with 5542 still on?
