light engine + support coach move to York via west coast main line / marston vale line / midland main line then via barrow hill to york

 

Indeed. I might have to pop out and see it, as it's a novelty to get something on the south end of the WCML and on my doorstep.

Oliver Cromwell was due to run Saturday evening from Southall at 19:45 to Kings Cross at 21:30ish. It in fact left about an hour early due to the engine being the wrong way around after missing Wednesdays trip to Weymouth. It was turned on Greenford loop. Is now sitting at Kings Cross overnight. I believe running this move on Saturday evening was required due to the North London Line being closed for engineering works on Sunday 23rd. (edit)
At least the early comers to Kings Cross get to see the engine (instead of an empty platform) which is good. Engine is off the end of Platform 1. Have a good day.

 

Seen at Oakleigh Park at 10:50 on the slow but making at lot of noise and progress 70013 load 13.So maybe 5-7 mis late.

 

Light engine move on time from Depot

 

I saw it just south of Leighton Buzzard at about 11:07hrs.

Stopped at Harrowden Junc for a few minutes before continuing on slow line at 1 pm to Kettering Sth Junc.

 

Passing Corby about a minute down.
