NNR Shed Photoshoot, Friday 4th September

Apologies if you have already seen this information in the NNR Gala thread, but I thought I better make a dedicated post to the photoshoot as it is for good causes (WD 2-10-0 )

The evening will be split into two parts. Firstly, from 6pm - 8:30pm, we will run an "Open Shed" event, when all are welcome to come and visit Weybourne Locomotive and Carriage & Wagon workshops. Visitors will be able to watch from a viewing area within the Yard as the gala performers move off the pit and into the yard and at least one locomotive will be stabled within the locomotive shed, creating an unforgettable atmosphere.

The second part of the event will run from 8:30pm - 11pm, when all photographers and enthusiasts are welcome for an organised shed photoshoot. This will take place in Weybourne Yard and will be feature six locomotives. There will be a number of sensitively lit "shots" incorporating one, two and possibly three locomotives.

Tickets for the "Open Shed" Event will be priced at £4 per person, with a £10 Family Ticket (2 Adults, 2 Children).
Tickets for the Photoshoot will be priced at £7 per person, and they will also be valid for the "Open Shed" event.

Weybourne Station Buffet will be open serving a wide selection of refreshments.

Please remember, all proceeds raised during this event go towards the restoration of Dub-Dee 2-10-0 No.90775, a stalwart locomotive on the line for many years.

Please Note:
Lineside Passes will not be valid for the "Open Shed" or Photoshoot.
Due to the nature of the event, Disabled Access will only be possible during the "Open Shed" event.
Limited Car Parking is available at Weybourne Station Car Park and Overflow.
Supplies of high-viz vests available on the door will be limited.

There will also be some basic rules that all visitors must comply to when visiting the Shed:
1.ORANGE Hi Viz Vests must be worn at all times. No Yellow Vests Permitted
2. No Children Under 8 are permitted in the Shed.
3. Each Child Under 12 is to be accompanied by one responsible adult at all times.
4. Follow instruction from all shed staff at all times.
5. No Alcohol or Drugs are to be consumed at any time before or during event.

Don't forget tickets can be bought online from the NNR website (I did) via card.
How about a Nat pres meetup?

 

I'd love to meet some other people. I will be assisting in some way with the shoot most probably taking monies.

 

Although the shoot is scheduled to end at 11pm it may be that due to circumstances out of our control it will run over, so please be aware of this fact if you wish to get all of the shots being set up!

For those of you attending the Photoshoot, the Open Shed should have some good photographic opportunities as there will be an area in the yard where you can watch locos come on shed - so don't miss it!

Oh dear, I do remember that now :| Bad times... lol

 

I'll be helping at the doors during the open shed till about 9 but will probs be floating about a little while after that while waiting for dad to pick me up lol

 

I'll be the on-the ground communcation during the 'shoot' part of the evening, so if i'm not with a radio to my mouth feel free to come and give opinions

 

I'll be on the doors with an M&GN fleece on, in case anyone wants to talk to me!
