I can help with the missing wagons.
The Austrian Vans are under a tarpaulin at the end of No.2 engineers siding at Rowsley, under active restoration.
I own the MR 5 plank, which is in the LMSCA shed nearing completion by Ben Riley.
The dogfish is at the end of No.3 carriage siding, and the bolster wagons are in the loco shed.
I'm not sure what you mean by the CEGB box van; there is a van from Stocksbridge Steelworks at Darley Dale in poor condition. Likely to ne cannibalised soon.
The van body at matlock disappeared during site development; it was in v. poor condition

Many thanks Tim for a detailed reply.
From what I can remember of my own visit several years ago the CEGB Box Van had a small gold coloured plate "CEGB 5" on the frame. This was originally MR built Derby 1921. I think you got it from the Foxfield in 2002/3?

Ah! Under a tarpaulin outside the LMSCA shed and in use as a store for one of the LMS coach restorations.

What diagram / lot number is the 5plank wagon?
edit - just had a look in a few books, seems like it was a 6 plank diagram 301, lot 529 built in 1901, 1 of 1000 built. Top plank was hinged over the side door. Its drawing no.1530 which still exists, its one of the nice watercoloured plans and is in quite good condition.
Is the waon publically viewable, cant find anything about it online. I'm planning on making a few MR wagons in 7 1/4" and have access to original MR drawings but seeing one for real makes model making easier.

    MR wagon at Peak Rail

I'm told it was built in 1921. The new body is now largely complete and it can be seen inside the LMSCA shed.

Derby 1920, Diagram D663A, but one of the early ones with wooden end stanchions (there was one lot of these before the change to steel T section, but AFTER the change in length, width, height and axlebox size to form a 12 ton wagon, rather than 10 as the D302 wagons). No idea what the number was, will pick a likely one. The previous '120655' was taken from a wagon with a through top plank, as you say, it isn't one of these, but when it had a bit of work to make it last better a few years ago, the doors had been cut down to 4 planks high, so a through top plank was fitted to make it resemble a complete 5 plank wagon. Door steelwork has been rebuilt to make up the full height again, so it does now look like what it actually is.

Rebuilt now to it's original design, albeit without the bottom doors (so sue me!). Done soon, maybe....? Several bits of steelwork to fit and it needs a fair few layers of paint. New floor, new curbrails, new sides and ends, new strapping (inside and out), new capping strip, new end stanchions. The corners are the originals though....
