The contrast is immediate, real, and utterly undesirable.

Whether this situation is a creation of this government or a succession of administrations is another matter - and as a trustee of the local war memorial may I simply observe "we should NOT be here".

 

Tornado looked stunning as she passed through Shenfield.
Good to see so many well wishers out there who no doubt remembered the orginal train.

Well done to all those involved in making this such a success.

But in any event, well done to all concerned for the efforts put in to operating the special, and congratulations on his life AND achievements to Sir Nicholas Winton himself.
