Industrial locomotives at Ironbridge

Visited several of the Ironbridge museums this weekend, and thought these photos would be of interest. Well worth a visit, especially buying the passport ticket which enables you to visit all the attractions as many times as you like within a year - combining a museum or two with a visit to the SVR is definitely on the cards



Coalbrookdale No 5





I think these two started off looking similar to Coalbrookdale No 5 but were rebuilt by Sentinel

The inclined plane carried these tub boats - at either end of the inclined plane they would be floated off/on flat trucks

Love going to Ironbridge and the related museums. The sweet shop at Blists Hill is fabulous.

If you like the sweet shop, try the chippy! mmmm.

Edit: have you seen the size of the fish in the canal? They fight the ducks for bread!
