The runs from Brum terminated at Kiddy mainline and ran ECS to Bewdley, only Bewdley - Snow Hill was loaded throughout.

Load 10 is not overloaded, the SVR trust theirs with 7/8 single headed regularly.

    Yes, this one...

47745 was attached to the rear of the train at Bescot, 45407 hauled the train through Kidderminster past the crossover, the 47 drew the train back into the northbound platform and the Black 5 then took the train through to Arley (it didn't go through to Bridgnorth due to pathing issues).

on time from new street, apparently, due to the threat of terrorism, will not be going into the power station. this means no run round facilities an so the 47 will follow light engine, then attach & top n tail from ironbridge.

Without being an experet on the gradients of the route - I believe they are facing the correct direction for the gradients - ie chimney first for the significant uphill sections.

departure from ironbridge, on the curve on the gradient, in the rain, after a little slipping, seemed a bit too easy in my coach, it felt like a little pushing from behind...but sounded great. hundred of people watching at the viaductin ironbridge, any pictures from here would be nice to see

things are looking a bit ominous at wolverhampton, signal checked outside only 1 did the work coming in, too many people climbing over them, signal canceled and services being diverted to other platforms..we await,
rumour from the platform that they are out of water, no announcement on board except we are not allowed off the train, repeatedly..meanwhile the locos are blowing off nonstop for some time..
i suspect some passengers are getting a bit naffed off from passing comments..
latest update onboard...after 30mins on plat4..still not allowed off..47773 has showed up.
onboard announcement..postcards are available on special offer..i'm sure that's helpful to us all !

This is going to sound like a very 'armchair' brigade comment, but I wonder whether coal/water consumption was recalculated after the decision to add an extra two coaches was made?

Either that or one or both engines is using more water than anticipated.

    Regards,

    Dan
