WHO NEEDS OUR HELP on Galas and Events next year!!

As some of you may know Admin and I do like to volunteer and help different causes for different railways all over the UK, Which is one of the main reasons for starting up this forum, for us to help support our Heritage with the same like minded people. We have mainly helped Llangollen and K&ESR We are willing to help anyone else! Just ask admin or I and we will consult our diary.

So if you have any causes you are fundraising towards or galas next year please let us know we would love to help out.

Special Events on the WSR are managed by a team who tend to make their own arrangements. I believe some of that team are members of this forum. Protocol demands I leave it to them to contact you or not.

As for other railways, forum members might like you to explain what kind of support you offer?

We are currently fundraising for the restoration of the Autocar (see signature) but that is exactly what we are doing - raising funds, producing engineering drawings, and various other paperwork. 'Restoration' work is limited to protective sheeting until the next HFL submittion is made which will hopefully result in funding being awarded (Note we have already received a first round pass).

So yes we'd love any help that you can offer but I suspect its rather restricted. Happy to hear otherwise.

What we would like to achieve is to just help out. Be an extra pair of hands.
Doing jobs like car parking, buffets, leaflets, customer help.

 

Just to add.
We can also put your leaflets out with packages sold with our shop.
Reaching ever further to the public.
This would be at a small cost.
