The overhaul of 37175's power unit is still ongoing at Bo'ness and as such it was decided to postpone the Class 37 running day in Jan 2010. To help the overhaul proceed quicker please visit the 37175 webshop at http://www.37175.co.uk where you can find all your Christmas railway goodies – mostly Scottish items, including depot stickers, mugs, t-shirts & key rings.

Also on sale are Limited Edition West Highland Class 37 DVDs (test copies) featuring the final days of English Electric action on the Caledonian Sleeper, in 2005-6 and a number of 37-hauled p-way & ballast workings.

As reviewed in “Railways Illustrated”, West Highland Class 37 calendars for 2010 are still available although these are limited in number and once sold out will not be reprinted.

You can “Sponsor a Bearing” - for just £15 you can take home one of the big-end bearing shells with the money going straight towards the new set required for the overhaul – although proving extremely popular we still have a number of these bearings left. Perfect on top of the mantelpiece (the wife will love it!) or as a bridge for any N gauge layout! Please contact us at http://www.37175.co.uk/contact.html if you are interested.

For those intending to visit the Falkirk Model Rail Exhibition on 28/29 November 2009, there will be a 37175 sales stand and there will be several special offers purely for this event. Visit http://www.falkirkmrc.com/exhibition.php for details of this event.

ALL proceeds go towards the ongoing overhaul & preservation of 37175 at Bo’ness – please support us, however small the purchase.

One last push before 2010 for items from the 37175 webshop.

Still a few West Highland Class 37 calendars left - these are well worth the money,
printed on A3, high quality, heavyweight glossy paper - featuring recent & archive
photos from many esteemed photographers, including John "whitemask" Hooson &
Bill "monkeysnaps" Watson, plus many more.

Several test copies left of the forthcoming DVD release of West Highland 37s - an
absolute bargain to be had here, at only a tenner!

Sponsor a Bearing - buy a piece of history and in return know that you are directly
contributing to the new big-end bearings required for the overhaul.

Shed stickers, keyrings, mugs and t-shirts are also on sale - some mighty fine
stocking fillers here, all at low prices and everything going towards the overhaul
of 37175 to mainline standard at Bo'ness.

As a last resort to shift a few calendars, they are now available on ebay, where you can see some preview months:

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280436356030

... but do please try and use the 37175 webshop as Paypal is used there as well, and it means 100% of the proceeds (after the Paypal cut) goes to 37175 and ebay don't get their 9.9% ;-)
